The Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation in the Republic of Ireland has published online the first parts of a new Companies Bill. The Companies Bill will consolidate the existing Irish Company legislation dating from 1963 and introduce several company law reforms. The Bill is based on the General Scheme of Companies Consolidation and Reform Bill, which was prepared by the Company Law Review Group (CLRG).
