  • Morgan McManus Solicitors provide a full service with regard to the administration of estates after death in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.

Following the death of a loved one, many people do not immediately feel ready or able to deal with the many administrative and financial matters which require attention. At Morgan McManus we appreciate the emotion and distress being suffered by those who are left behind. We will take care to explain to the next of kin their rights and obligations.

If a Will has been made it must be proved to be a valid Will by submitting an application to the The Probate Office. This is known as “extracting a Grant Of Probate”.

If there is no Will made then an Administrator must apply to the Probate Office to be appointed Administrator and this is known as “extracting a Grant of Administration”.

Morgan McManus will help you deal with all the relevant Government Departments, Banks, Building Societies, Inland Revenue/Revenue Commissioners and other Agencies. Our firm will apply to the High Court for the Grant of Probate/Letters of Administration on your behalf, thus enabling you to sort out the deceased’s affairs with minimum fuss. Our Solicitors can also advise on all Tax implications relating to the administration of the Estate.

Please contact our office to arrange an appointment with one of our Solicitors to obtain more information and advice.
