EPA (Enduring Power of Attorney) AND LIVING WILLS

We believe everyone should have an Enduring Power of Attorney (EPA).

An EPA is a straightforward document which allows someone else to look after your affairs. This can be at a pre-determined time chosen by you or it can take effect in the event of your incapacity.

Loss of mental capacity is not confined to the elderly and may happen suddenly and at any age, e.g in a car accident, stroke or coma.

It is not just your personal life which may suffer: businesses can be crippled if there is no one to sign the cheques.

Living Wills

A Living Will can be written to set out your wishes in the event of your serious or terminal illness. We will need to explain to you their current legal standing as they do not have the same status as other wills.
