Title: Morgan McManus assist on MicroTrade
Cross-Border Guidelines
MicroTrade is a programme that helps small businesses
build contacts, markets and partnerships across
the island of Ireland. The programme is an initiative
of the County & City Enterprise Boards of
the Republic of Ireland, Enterprise Northern Ireland
and InterTradeIreland. They offer a range of supports
including networking events, funding and training.
Further details of their services are available
on their Website at www.microtrade.org.
Cross-border trade offers immense opportunities
for business expansion, but there are a number
of legal and administrative requirements to bear
in mind. MicroTrade worked with Morgan McManus,
FPM Chartered Accountants and the National Irish
Bank/Northern Bank to develop clear and to the
point Guidelines for any small business looking
into cross-border business. These Guidelines are
available on the Microtrade Website. The Guidelines
have been so widely acknowledged that InterTradeIreland
are due to publish a Booklet for their customers
encompassing the Guidelines.
We are very proud to have been involved in the
preparation of these Guidelines and consider it
a great honour to have been invited to contribute.
We believe that this invitation was a recognition
of the very real part that Morgan McManus have
played in the last few years in advising Cross-Border
businesses in their growth.
